Our friends at Fuel Curve are really good at finding some bitchin’ cars that sometimes don’t make it on our radar. This 427 Cammer powered ’55 Thunderbird is one such example.

Started as a total project, Don’s bad ‘Bird was torn down to bare metal. With panels replaced and repaired, Don and his friends went to work figuring out how to stuff a Ford 427 SOHC motor into the front of the car.

But you know how the story goes. Nobody is better at engine swaps than hot rodders and we’re happy to say Don successfully engineered the change from mundane to a mountain of a motor.
