The second leg of our 2017 Spring Fling tour finds us in Fort Worth, Texas for the seventh running of the Spring Lone Star Nationals held at the track with No Limits – Texas Motor Speedway! From zero-dark-thirty till high-noon, the infield tunnel continued to reveal incoming hot rods, customs, muscle cars, and of course some of the finest pickups the Lone Star State has to offer.

Cool clouds loomed in the skies during the early part of the day but come noon the sun found its way through and warmed up TMS just in time for the cruising to begin down the main drag. The cars and stars of our industry shined bright as they made their rounds providing picture-perfect photo opportunities. Add in the giant Nitro Thunderfest noon fire off (we have seven rail dragsters and a vintage funny car), Team Texas NASCAR rides, tire burning AutoCross, the Goodgals Gallery, and a bustling vendor midway and the old saying rang true – everything IS bigger in Texas. These folks rocked TMS today as if it was a Saturday at any other National event.

With no threat of bad weather, we’re gearing up for an even busier Saturday and a packed All American Sunday where on both days registered car participants will be able to take their rides to the TMS oval for the evening track cruise which is always a main attraction year after year. So fill up the tank, blow off the dust, and come on out to Texas Motor Speedway tomorrow for a fun-filled day of good ‘ol hot rodding with old friends and new! We’ll see y’all at 6am tomorrow morning when the car gates open. Spectator gates open at 8am.

Enjoy the Friday First Look!
