For car guys and gals around the world, SEMA is akin to Christmas morning. After days and days of set up, anticipation, and internet sneak previews of new builds and new parts, the gates are cracked at 9am Tuesday morning opening the door to a magical world of automotive excitement. Today was no different. People literally ran to get the first look at all the new stuff. And as you can see from these images, the show didn’t disappoint!
Our mission here at SEMA has always been to promote our events and support our industry. We haven’t missed a SEMA show since 1987, our first official year in business.
Our booth on Hot Rod Alley was a hub of activity today with a ton of visitors, some from far away lands. As a tribute to our late Founder Gary Meadors, we are displaying his 1932 Ford Tudor, known as the Goodguys “logo car.” Also in the booth is our 2018/2019 Grand Prize Giveaway Truck – the ’69 Ford “GRT” by Lucky 7 Speed Shop. It’s red, its rad, its low and its got Ford Coyote power!
Of course, the highlight of our day was getting to photograph all of the cool cars and trucks (and a few pretty girls too!). The best of the best had cars debut today and it was too hard to pick a favorite. Things get interesting tomorrow during the Goodguys GOLD Award presentation. Wednesday at 2pm at our booth, we will announce our Top 5 Cars of SEMA 2018.
Look for the winning vehicles right here on Hot News around 5pm tomorrow. For now, enjoy our giant SEMA opening day photo gallery!
