Some of the country’s sleekest and most stylish custom cars will be on display inside the main exhibit building at the Goodguys 27th All American Get-Together, March 28 & 29 at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds! Why so many killer customs? They’re all gunning for the Goodguys 2009 West Coast Custom of the Year award! The winner will receive $1,000, a special billet aluminum award for the mantle, a full color feature in the Goodguys Gazette and yearbook not to mention national bragging rights.

The customs-only building is unique for Goodguys and is the one time each year that the popular custom cars get to occupy center stage. Event Director Harry Daviess has burned the wick at both ends this off season recruiting customs for the big event.  “Cars are coming in from all over the place,” Daviess said. “We’ve got over 40 of them signed up. If you like the big cars – this is your show!”

The Goodguys 2008 West Coast Custom of the Year award will be awarded to a Custom car 1936 through 1964 vintage. Only cars entered in the indoor portion of the All American Get-Together are eligible. The award is designed to honor an exceptional custom car and is open to all styles and genres of customs (from traditional to modern).
