Woodies and the beach go together like surf and sand, so it’s no wonder the 17th Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals has a long history of attracting a fantastic selection of wood-bodied wagons. True to Del Mar tradition, the San Diego Woodies teamed up with Goodguys to host a special Good Wood parking area on Saturday in a courtyard off the main drag of the fairgrounds. It was a termite’s paradise, with woodies of all styles and shapes showing off their distinctive blend of wood and metal in the bright SoCal sun. If cars like these don’t make you want to grab your board and head for the coast, nothing will.
